Rosine Kamgaing
Co-Founder & CEO
In 2007, the mother of Ebele Mbanugo, founder of Run for a Cure Africa, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
At the time, her family was devastated by the sad news, but doctors let them understand that having detected the cancer in its initial early stage, there were high chances of remission.
Ebele's mother's fight and victory against cancer inspired her to create Run for a Cure Africa in 2009 in Nigeria.
Mrs. Virginie Bopda Kontchou, member of Run for a Cure, thought of exporting this wonderful idea to Cameroon. In July 2012, a group of committed and determined women launched Run for a Cure activities in Cameroon. This great adventure continues to these days
Mr. Bopda Kontchou leads all the activities to support the fight against breast cancer in Cameroon
